- Calendar
A calendar that knows which account the meeting belongs to.
Connect Outlook Calendar per user, with Google Calendar in beta. Provider events sync into Cyril, events you create can be pushed back out, attendees are matched against your Sales records, and the meeting lands on the record it was actually about.

What Calendar does for you
Each person connects their own Outlook calendar, or Google in beta. Provider events sync into Cyril, events created in Cyril can be pushed to your default calendar, and any meeting with a Sales-matched attendee appears as activity on the contact, account and deal.
Sync in, push out, per user
Provider events sync into Cyril. Events you create in Cyril can be pushed to your default Outlook or Google calendar, and later edits and deletions follow; recurrence and invitees stay in Cyril for now.
Close to real time
Google and Microsoft push subscriptions deliver changes as they happen, renewed automatically. A 15-minute poll still runs underneath as reconciliation.
Meetings on the record
Attendees are matched against Sales contacts, so the meeting shows up as an Activity on the contact, the account and the deal. Nothing to log by hand.
Divergence surfaced, never silently resolved
If the provider copy of a Cyril event is edited or deleted upstream, Cyril says so before you touch the drifted copy. It does not merge the two versions for you.
The meeting, the thread and the deal are the same conversation.
Because Calendar is part of the platform rather than an integration, a meeting lands on the account it belongs to, beside the email that arranged it and the deal it moves forward — with no fourth tool to check.
- Attendee matching writes Activities onto contacts, accounts and deals
- Same permission model and audit trail as every other module
- Connection health is visible in settings — subscription state, expiry and renewal — with tokens and channel ids withheld
Common Calendar questions
Does connecting my mailbox connect my calendar as well?
No. Mail and Calendar are separate connections with separate consent, held in separate records. Connecting a Gmail or Outlook mailbox does not connect the matching calendar — each person grants calendar access on its own.
Is the sync genuinely real time?
Close to it, which is how we would rather describe it. Google and Microsoft push subscriptions deliver changes as they happen, and Cyril keeps a 15-minute poll underneath as the fallback and reconciliation path. The poll is what guarantees nothing is missed.
What happens if the same event is changed in both places?
Cyril flags it and a person decides. The event detail sheet warns you before you edit or delete a copy that has drifted from the provider’s version. Automatic merge is deliberately out of scope — we would rather show you a conflict than resolve it wrongly.
Can I see my tasks and projects on the calendar?
Partly. Each project has a calendar view of its tasks by due date, but the Calendar module shows meetings and events only. A single view of all your work on one calendar is not something we ship yet.
